Barbera d’Alba DOC is one of the most structured and intense expressions of the Barbera grape, produced in the Langhe hills in the province of Cuneo.
Made from 100% Barbera grapes, it benefits from a highly suitable terroir, resulting in wines that are more concentrated and complex compared to other areas.
On the nose, it shows a rich profile, with notes of cherry, blackberry, and plum, often accompanied by spicy nuances and, in aged versions, hints of vanilla and toast.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with the grape’s characteristic lively acidity balanced by greater softness and depth. More important versions may undergo oak aging, gaining complexity and aging potential.
