Laphroaig 15 Years Old è una bottiglia vintage iconica della celebre distilleria di Islay, nella versione storica con importazione Francesco Cinzano per il mercato italiano, oggi particolarmente ricercata da collezionisti e appassionati per il suo valore storico e per lo stile autentico della casa.
Distillato secondo tradizione in alambicchi di rame e maturato per 15 anni in botti di rovere, esprime il carattere torbato e marino tipico di Islay, con un affinamento che ne ha arrotondato l’intensità mantenendo integra la sua identità affumicata.
Alla vista si presenta con un colore oro intenso; al naso sprigiona sentori di torba, iodio, salsedine, fumo di legna e leggere note vanigliate; al palato è deciso, strutturato e persistente, con richiami affumicati, salmastri e una chiusura lunga e calda.
Ideale come pezzo da collezione o da meditazione, si degusta preferibilmente in purezza per coglierne ogni sfumatura, perfetto per gli amanti dei grandi whisky torbati.
