Krug Grande Cuvée 169ème in formato Magnum rappresenta l’essenza dell’arte dell’assemblaggio della Maison, realizzato unendo oltre 140 vini provenienti da annate diverse, alcuni dei quali con più di 15 anni di maturazione. La vinificazione avviene in piccole botti di rovere che conferiscono al vino struttura, profondità e straordinaria capacità di evoluzione, seguita da un lungo affinamento sui lieviti di oltre 7 anni. Alla vista si presenta dorato e luminoso, con un perlage sottilissimo e persistente. Il profumo è ampio e complesso, con sentori di agrumi maturi, frutta secca, miele, mandorle, pan brioche e delicate note speziate. In bocca si distingue per l’equilibrio perfetto tra freschezza, cremosità e profondità aromatica, con un finale lungo, elegante e vibrante. Ideale in abbinamento a ostriche, aragosta, foie gras, tartare di tonno, piatti a base di tartufo e formaggi stagionati.
